Our Heritage

At ESPILO, every piece begins with the exceptional cashmere of the Changthangi (Pashmina) goat from the Ladakh region. During the spring moulting season, the finest fibres are gently combed by hand, carefully sorted, cleaned and dyed before being spun into yarn.
Skilled Kashmiri/Ladakh artisans then weave and finish each scarf and shawl using techniques passed down through generations. The result is heirloom-quality cashmere that is warm, soft, elegant and timeless in fashion.
Since 2016, we have proudly supported Kashmiri/Ladakh artisans and their families, creating pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, sustainability and authentic luxury.
